Haverhill Pride

As a founder and Vice President of Haverhill Pride, I wanted to showcase the fun diversity of this organization and marry it with the rich history of Haverhill. Given the nickname “Shoe City” due to the number of shoe making mills, this town was built by working-class factory workers. Borrowing the style of a workers union shield, this logo finds a balance between history and progress.

With an influx of new city-sponsored events, Haverhill needed a variation of their seal that could easily be put on marketing materials and read at a small size. Heavily inspired by the original seal, I updated the typefaces and imagery to be more modern while capturing the important iconography from Haverhill’s history.
