Since 2023, I’ve been working in-house with the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) as the sole graphic designer. Responsible for the overall brand development as well as collateral, social media, and environmental design I work closely with the Director of Marking and Communications to showcase the incredible work of our students and faculty. Here’s a little taste of what I’ve been up to at HGSE.
EdSecondary is a Harvard University-wide project in conjunction with HGSE and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS). In need of a brand update, I was tasked with creating a mark that could stand-out and stand alongside the HGSE and FAS shields.
Beyond education, HGSE focuses on faculty research labs/ projects to explore new avenues of education and reach learners all over the world. I’ve logo-marks inline with the HGSE brand to can sit alongside the shield and create a visual impact in stand-alone settings.
This multi-university project Building Reading Instruction to Drive Growth in Every Student (BRIDGES) is committed to bridging reading science with educational practice through collaborative research focused on improving reading outcomes for all learners. As such, a bridge and a book only felt natural for this mark.
